PVC改性的性能指标

 

着色性

聚氯乙烯热稳定性和耐光性较差。在150℃时开始分解出氯化氢，随着增塑剂含量的多少发生不良反应。另外，颜料对PVC的影响，体现在颜料是否与PVC及组成PVC制品的其它组分发生反应以及颜料本身耐迁移性、耐热性。着色剂中的某些成份可能会促使树脂的降解。如铁离子和锌离子是PVC树脂降解反应的催化剂。因此，使用氧化铁（红、黄、棕和黑）颜料或氧化锌、硫化锌和立德粉类白色颜料会降低PVC树脂的热稳定性。某些着色剂可能会与PVC树脂的降解产物发生作用。如群青类颜料耐酸性差，故在PVC着色加工过程中，会与PVC分解产生的氯化氢发生相互作用而失去应有的颜色。因此就PVC着色而言，考虑到所用树脂及相关助剂的特征，结合颜料的特点。在选择着色剂时应当注意以下几个问题。  1、颜料中的某些金属离子会促使聚氯乙烯树脂热氧分解如图1。 测定方法为加有颜料聚乙烯加热至180℃时的色相变化。由于颜料中含有金属离子促使PVC分解加快，从而产生色相变化。同时，还要注意的是，同样加入色淀红可使PVC产生的色差不同，如含有钙，色相差小；含锰则色相差大，这是由于锰等金属促进PVC脱氯化氢所致。 硫化物类着色剂（如镉红、黄等）用于聚氯乙烯着色，可能因着色剂分解放出硫化氢。这类着色剂不宜与铅稳定剂混用，以免生成黑色的硫化铅。 2、颜料对聚氯乙烯电气绝缘性影响 作为电缆材料的聚氯乙烯和聚乙烯一样，应该考虑着色后的电性能。尤其是聚氯乙烯因其本身绝缘性较聚乙烯差，故颜料的影响就更大。说明，选择无机颜料着色PVC对其电气绝缘性较有机颜料为好（除炉黑、锐钛型二氧化钛外）。  

迁移性

迁移性仅发生在增塑PVC制品中，并且是在使用染料或有机颜料时。所谓迁移是在周围溶剂中存在的部分可溶解的染料或有机颜料，通过增塑剂渗透到PVC制品表面，那些溶解的染（颜）料颗粒也被带到制品表面上，这样，导致接解渗色、溶剂渗色或起霜。  另一个问题是“结垢”。指着色剂在着色加工时，因为被着色物的相溶性差或根本不相容而从体系中游离出来，沉积在加工设备的表面（如挤出机的机筒内壁、口模孔内壁）上。  

耐候性

指颜料耐各种气候的能力。其中包括可见光和紫外光、水分、温度、大气氯化作用以及制品使用期间所遇到的化学药剂。最重要的耐候性，包括不褪色性、耐粉化性和物理性能的持久性。而有机颜料则因其结构不同有好有差。此外，在含有白色颜料的配方中，颜料的耐候性会受到较严重的影响。 颜料的褪色、变暗或色调变化，一般由颜料的反应基因所致。这些反应性基因，能与大气中的水分或化学药剂——酸、碱发生作用。例如，镉黄在水分和日光作用下会褪色，立索尔红具有较好的耐光性，适合于大多数户内应用，而在含有酸、碱成分的户外使用时严重褪色。 脱氯化氢的测定方法按JIS-K-6723，测定温度180℃。以未着色的聚氯乙烯复合物脱氯乙烯的时间为基准，延长或阻缓时间以5%、10%间隔计，负值表示加速分解。  

稳定性

聚氯乙烯树脂的软化点低，约75-80℃，脆化温度低于-50~-60℃，大多数制品长期使用温度不宜超过55℃，特殊配方的可达90℃。若聚氯乙烯树脂纯属头-性相接面怕线型结构，内部无支链和不饱和键，尽管C-Cl键能相对较小，聚氯乙烯树脂的稳定性也应当是比较高的。但即使纯度很高的聚氯乙烯树脂，长期在100℃以上或受紫外线辐射就开始有氯化氢气体逸出。说明其分子结构中存在尖性基团或不稳定结构。时间越长、降解越多、温度越高，降解速度越快，在氧或空气存在下降解速度更快。 

电性能

聚氯乙烯属于极性高聚物，对水等导电物质亲和力较大，故电阻较非极性的聚烯烃要小，但仍有较高的体积电阴和击穿电压。聚氯乙烯的极性基团直接附着在主链上，在玻璃化温度以下，偶极链段受到冻结构的主链原子的限制，不能移动，因而并不产生偶极化作用，可作室温的高频绝缘材料。作电线绝缘用时、悬浮树脂的电气绝缘性比浮液树脂高10-100倍。降解产生的氯离子的存在会降低电绝缘性。
